The Israeli embassy in Portugal is closed until further notice from noon this Monday, according to TSF.
Israel’s embassies around the world have been closed since the country’s largest union called for a strike against judicial reform announced by the Netanyahu government. We are talking about reducing the independence of the judiciary and strengthening control by the executive branch.
The embassy workers in Portugal are represented by the union and for this reason they have decided to implement the recommendation, a TSF source said. The embassy will no longer open after lunch.
