The first private IT park in the region, Herzen, which combines a scientific and educational complex, innovation and high-tech production, was opened in Tomsk on November 9, the press service of the regional administration reports.
“With the president of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the leadership of Roskosmos, we discussed the interaction of the scientific and educational complex with the real sector of the economy in order to solve one of the main tasks of the country – the achievement of technological sovereignty. It is this task that the residents of the new Tomsk technology park will solve.”– Inauguration of the technopark, said the governor of the region, Vladimir Mazur, recently returned from the capital.
The technocenter presents the Tomsk NPO “Mikran” production and communication technological systems laboratory, which was created by the Tomsk State University TUSUR. Also on the site there are spaces for coworking, recreation, conferences and others.
In addition, more than 300 new high-performance jobs have already opened in the IT park, says the report. It was noted that the expansion of the IT center is planned and the construction of the following buildings is planned.
It was noted that the facility was reconstructed by the Tomsk company “STK” and is located at the intersection of Gertsen Street and Komsomolsky Avenue.
Remember that the name of the technopark – “Herzen” is associated with the name of the writer Alexander Ivanovich Herzen, who raised two eternal Russian questions: “Who is to blame?” And what to do?” The creators of the IT park expressed their answer as follows: “work, move forward, choose the right partners and solve complex problems”.
