An 86-year-old man died in a hospital in Bragança after being seriously injured by a bull on Monday in Macedo de Cavaleiros, a local fire department source told Lusa on Tuesday.
According to the source, the incident took place around lunchtime at a livestock farm owned by the victim in Macedo de Cavaleiros, Bragança district.
An elderly man was attacked by a bull and seriously injured before being taken to a hospital in Bragança, where he died a few hours later, according to a Macedo de Cavaleiros volunteer fire brigade source.
In addition to firefighters, an ambulance team and an INEM helicopter also flew to the scene, which delivered the victim to Bragança.
