German authorities can ensure full filling of gas storage facilities without fuel supply from Russia, the head of Germany’s Federal Network Agency Klaus Müller said, Handerlsbalt reports on March 30.
“We are now ending the winter with a relatively full stock. This will help fill storage facilities in the summer without Russian pipeline gas.”Muller said.
“We must also prepare well for the coming winter. This means that we continue to use gas economically.”added.
Recall that earlier the head of the Swedish Ministry of Energy said that the upcoming heating season in the EU will be accompanied by risks due to the rejection of Russian energy sources. Switching to other providers will not solve the power shortage problem.
We also note that gas reserves in storage facilities do not ensure full consumption in the winter. They are designed to compensate for fluctuations in gas consumption and act as a buffer in the event of a temporary supply interruption.
