Lavrov praised Cuba’s resistance to Washington’s economic, commercial and financial blockade for more than 60 years. He called this experience exemplary for Russia, which has faced more than 11,000 sanctions from the collective West.
The Russian foreign minister recalled the annual confirmation of the almost unanimous position in the UN General Assembly on the need to lift the blockade on Cuba.
