
Entrepreneurs and the self-employed received exemption from payment for participation in the work of the sites of the MahanFest gastronomic festival, held in the capital of the Republic of Kalmykia, the city of Elista, on April 22-23. This was announced on March 30 by representatives of the region’s Ministry of Economy during a press conference, where the concept of the gastrofestival and the administrative nuances of the event were disclosed.
The organizers of the festival informed that the regional center “My Business” accepts applications for participation from businessmen.
This year, a location in the City Chess area was chosen as the festival venue, which will double the number of seats in the food court area, as well as activity areas such as masterclass venues and exhibitions, where festival guests they can have delicious food and have fun as a family.
“MahanFest” is one of the main events in the framework of the Tulip Festival celebration, which is organized annually as a massive outdoor festival. The festival serves as a platform to create a positive image and increase awareness of the participants’ brands.
The main goals of the festival are to acquaint residents and visitors of Kalmykia with the peculiarities of the national culture and cuisine, to promote and popularize the principles of traditional nutrition in modern life, and to create a tourist attraction for Kalmykia.
