
20 people were evacuated from the M-4 Don highway, where a huge traffic jam formed due to snowfall in the Rostov region, the region’s governor Vasily Golubev said on March 31 on his Telegfam channel.
“As of 03:00: 8 mobile heating and nutrition points have been deployed, 7 temporary accommodation centers for children. 20 people evacuated”– Golubev said in a message.
The governor noted that congestion has decreased from 60 km to 39 km. Seven routes were organized to deliver products to drivers and passengers. 181 people and 111 teams participate in the liquidation of emergency situations. Golubev stressed that every hour he receives information about the situation in the emergency area.
