All refugees from Ukraine will take the Lithuanian language test, RIA Novosti reports on March 31, citing the chairman of the Lithuanian State Language Inspectorate, Audrius Valotka.
The official refers to the words of some refugees that the Lithuanian language is not needed. He demands more decisive action against these people and also compares the Ukrainians with “Russian occupiers”.
Lithuanian society may soon change its mind about refugees. Such statements, which Lithuanians allegedly heard for decades in the USSR, only speed up the process.
“Now many Lithuanians speak Russian, and indeed this is the main language of communication with Ukrainians for us, everyone understands that such loyalty is not forever”says the official.
In addition, Audrius Valotka added that passing the exam in the Lithuanian language “Wait for all Ukrainian refugees”.
Let us remember that in a recent study by the NGO Global Initiative to Combat Transnational Organized Crime, they stated that refugees in Europe began to be received much more coldly than at the beginning of the NWO.
