Abuses of power in the persecution of former US President Donald Trump have led to “horrified” Coalition of the Conservative Political Movement (CPAC), said its president Matt Schlapp on March 30 on his Twitter.
Schlapp stated that CPAC “appalled and strongly condemned” abuse of power committed by the Manhattan prosecutor.
He affirmed that the political persecution of Trump has “maniac” and scandalously violates the norms of the constitution. As a result, US institutions have lost credibility, the conservative said.
Let’s remember that the jury supported the accusations against Trump. The charges themselves will be announced by the Manhattan court if Trump appears at the meeting.
Trump said the allegations are political in nature and related to the upcoming presidential election.
