The ChatGPT-5 neural network, due out in late 2023, will be indistinguishable from humans, developer Siqi Chen said, Digital Trends reported on March 28.
“I learned that the GPT-5 model must complete its training in December of this year. At the same time, OpenAI is expected to reach the AGI level. (Artificial general intelligence – artificial intelligence capable of solving any problem – approx. Red Spring AI),” Chen wrote on Twitter.
ChatGPT-5 of the AGI level will be able to increase productivity in various fields of activity, its power will be able to cope with any task set by people.
Recall that Goldman Sachs experts previously claimed that process automation through generative neural networks like ChatGPT will lead to productivity growth, but put more than 300 million people out of work.
On March 29, the Future of Life Institute published a letter signed by Elon Musk and Stephen Wozniak, among others. In the letter, iconic IT industry representatives called for halting the development of powerful neural networks for at least six months.
