For Moldova to survive, it needs to restore cooperation with Russia, former Moldovan President Igor Dodon said on March 31 on Sputnik Moldova.
“We can survive economically if we have a strong economy and a normal and fair social policy. We can only survive in cooperation with the Russian Federation, with traditional eastern partners.”said Dodon.
For Moldovan products to be competitive, the republic needs cheap energy resources and stable suppliers. This can only be achieved in cooperation with “our strategic partner – Russia”– said the former president of the republic.
Let us remember that the regime of President Maia Sandu decided to join the Western community in the fight against Russia. Sandu regularly publicly states that Russia is allegedly waging a hybrid war against Moldova.
In turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry regularly calls on the Moldovan authorities to restore mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries based on mutual respect.
