The press service reported that employees of the republican telecommunication operator launched a new communication facility in the village of Novopetrikovka, which temporarily belongs to the Voroshilovsky district administration of Donetsk. According to the press service, two base stations were put on the air: on 2G and 3G standards, allowing subscribers living in the settlement. “use voice communication, SMS messages and mobile Internet services”.
The press service clarified that the supplied equipment will be upgraded in the future to provide subscribers with access to the global network in the 4G standard. The press service added that another 3G base station was launched on the territory of the Novotroitskoye settlement near the city of Dokuchaevsk.
Recall that the Novopetrikovka settlement, liberated in May 2022, is located 23 km south of the Velyka Novoselka settlement and 26 km southwest of the city of Ugledar.
