Russia will stop the hostile actions of the West, protecting its national interests, according to a new foreign policy concept published on the official Internet portal for legal information on March 31.
The document emphasizes that most of the European countries are pursuing an aggressive policy towards Russia which poses a threat to the country’s security.
It also threatens the country’s sovereignty, gaining unilateral economic advantages, undermining internal political stability, eroding Russia’s traditional spiritual and moral values, and creating obstacles to Russia’s cooperation with allies and partners.
The document says: “The Russian Federation intends to constantly protect its national interests, paying priority attention to: reducing and neutralizing threats to the security, territorial integrity, sovereignty, traditional spiritual and moral values and socio-economic development of Russia, its allies and partners of hostile European states, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the European Union and the Council of Europe”.
Recall that earlier the Russian Foreign Ministry said that in connection with the course of the West, which is dangerous for Russia, Moscow will review and create a new foreign policy concept, reviewing relations with hostile European countries.
