Turkey’s gross external debt as of December 31, 2022 amounted to $459 billion (35.5 trillion rubles), and the net external debt was $235.3 billion (18 trillion rubles), it announced on December 31. March the press service of the Ministry of Finance and Finance of Turkey.
It should be noted that the ratio of Turkey’s gross external debt to national income was 50.7% and net debt was 26%.
The volume of external debt guaranteed by the Treasury amounted to 15.9 billion dollars (1.25 trillion rubles).
The net public debt for this period amounted to 2.522 billion Turkish lira (2.1 trillion rubles). The national debt-to-income ratio was 16.8%.
The total amount of public debt, determined by the European Union, amounted to 4 trillion 763 billion Turkish liras (3.1 trillion rubles), and the ratio of this indicator to national income was 31.7%.
