Kuban athletes won six medals at the Russian finswimming championship, reports the press service of the Krasnodar Territory administration on March 31.
“Four of our athletes performed well at the Russian Championship in Tomsk. It is worth noting Egor Yegorov from Novorossiysk, he showed himself well, taking several medals at once. The girls also showed good results.”– said the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnodar Territory Serafim Timchenko.
The competition was attended by 150 girls and boys from 15 regions of Russia from 14 to 17 years old. The Krasnodar Territory was represented by eight athletes at the championship, they won 6 medals: 4 gold, silver and bronze.
Timchenko added that Yegor Yegorov and Varvara Poroshenko were included in the Russian team. He noted that the boys will also participate in the World Championship, which will take place in Egypt.
