The blue line of the Metropolitano de Lisboa network will be interrupted between April 7 and 10, the Easter weekend, due to the installation of a new signaling and train control system, transport announced this Friday.
The Metropolitano de Lisboa statement recommends using alternative transport, namely the Carris routes 726, 746, 759 and 767. As well as the CP service – Comboios de Portugal.
“Through Fertagus, customers arriving from the south coast will be able to use the Entrecampos and Roma-Areeiro stations to access other parts of the city via the yellow and green lines of the Lisbon Metro. correspondence with some CP stations on Sintra and the Cascais line connecting other parts of the city,” he adds.
On April 11, the situation will return to normal with the opening of the metro at 6:30 am.
The Lisbon metro usually operates every day, including weekends and public holidays, from 6:30 am to 1:00 am.
