The body of two-year-old Tylen Mosley, missing since Thursday, was found dead in the mouth of an alligator this Friday night. The child’s mother, 20-year-old Pashun Jeffrey, was found stabbed in the apartment where she lived with her son in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA.
In accordance with daily mail, authorities confirmed that it was Tylen’s body after the animal was killed. The coroner performs an autopsy on the child’s body to determine the cause of death.
“We didn’t want to find him like that,” Police Chief Anthony Holloway said.
Tylen’s father, 21-year-old Thomas Mosley, was charged with two counts of aggravated murder. In accordance with NBC News, Thomas had cuts on his arms and hands, and he ended up in the hospital on his own initiative. As of Friday, the man is in custody.
