One person died and four were injured in three accidents this Saturday in the center of the country, in Coimbra, Pombal and Anciau.
In the village of Lameirinha in Pombal, at 08:45, the driver of a two-wheeled vehicle, 34 years old, was killed as a result of a collision between a motorcycle and a car. The death was confirmed at the scene by the INEM team.
Around the same time, a car crashed on the A13 motorway at the Avelar junction in Ansiau, injuring two women, a mother and daughter, aged 61 and 84, who were returning home from hospitalization. The driver, the youngest, is suspected of head trauma.
At 14:15 in the Button area on the IP3 highway in the direction of Coimbra-Viseu, a 50-year-old driver was seriously injured as a result of an ostentatious collision with a car. The accident affected the road.
