The state of emergency, which was in force in five municipalities of the Rostov region, was canceled by order of the region’s governor Vasily Golubev, the press service of the regional Ministry of Transport reported on April 3.
“The special regime for elimination of the consequences of the emergency is canceled”says the message.
The inter-municipal emergency regime came into force from 20:00 on March 30 in the city of Shakhty, as well as in the Belokalitvinsky, Kamensky, Krasnosulinsky and Oktyabrsky districts. It was introduced due to adverse weather conditions and traffic restrictions on the M-4 Don road and adjacent roads.
Recall that in the Rostov region since March 30, due to snowfall on the M-4 Don highway, a multi-kilometer traffic jam has formed, into which more than a thousand cars fell. Traffic on the M-4 highway was fully opened only on the night of March 31.
