The investigation of the criminal case against two former employees of the territorial body for internal affairs in the Lipetsk region was completed on April 3, the press service of the regional Investigative Committee reports.
The police officers are accused of receiving illegal remuneration from employees of a commercial company, representatives of the investigation noted.
“From September 2021 to February 2022, the defendants, being employees of the service unit of the territorial body for internal affairs, are obliged not to disclose or transfer personal data of citizens to third parties for commercial purposes, including information about the fact of death. and place of residenceexplained the department.
For each act of providing legally protected information about the deceased residents, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 4,000 rubles from the briber, the researchers emphasized.
At the moment, the materials of the criminal case have been submitted to the court, which will determine the degree of guilt and the measure of responsibility of the accused.
