A Swiss International Airlines plane en route from Zurich, Switzerland to Brussels, Belgium, took off as an inspection vehicle was inspecting the runway. The plane, carrying 70 passengers and six crew members, was able to continue its journey and landed in Brussels without any problems.
In accordance with Aviation Bulletin, a website that publishes reports of accidents and incidents in commercial aviation, the incident occurred on February 14th. The flight departed at 7:57 a.m. (local time) on runway 28 and the vehicle was traveling on runway 34. However, at the time of takeoff, the vehicle overran the aircraft’s runway due to “poor visibility conditions” , the website says.
ABOUT Swiss Security Research Council reported the incident on 31 March and stated that he had launched an investigation.
