Three American tourists were found dead on October 30 in an Airbnb apartment in Mexico City, Mexico. Friends of Candace, Jordan and Cortez visited the capital of Mexico to celebrate the Day of the Dead.
According to Independent, The Mexico City State Ministry launched an investigation into the deaths and said everything indicated they died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Airbnb reports. Independent that the death was a “terrible tragedy” and that the company would assist in the investigation.
According to ReutersMexican authorities continue to investigate, despite the fact that one of the autopsies showed that the victim died from carbon monoxide inhalation.
