The Tomsk fighters participating in the special operation will receive off-road equipment from Tomsk on April 5, the press service of the regional administration reports.
Together with Russian Railways, it is planned to form a train to the front line in Donbass as part of the All-Russian action “Road Train”, which will transport SUVs, pickup trucks, minibuses and all-terrain vehicles to soldiers.
The vehicles will be delivered to the units where Tomsk residents serve in Rostov-on-Don or in the NVO zone.
It is noted that SUVs are in demand at the forefront. They are used to move along the front-line zone, as well as to transport the wounded, deliver humanitarian goods, food, medicine, equipment or special technical equipment.
It is clarified that the transport to be sent must be in a mobile state, with documents and be ready for shipment on April 10.
Two Tomsk residents: one of them, the retiree Vladimir Yurkov and Vasily Grebnev, presented their UAZ off-road vehicles to the Tomsk military volunteers.
These vehicles were prepared at the Gazelle Service Plus auto service for work in combat conditions.
