Marco Paulo Gomes, 39, has been missing since Saturday and will be residing in Mato, Ribafriya district, and Pereiro de Palhacana, Alenquer municipality. On Wednesday morning, the Merceana fire department received an alarm, and the search operation has already begun.
The search involves 30 operators and 9 vehicles, firefighters, security guards and GNR dog handlers. “We are hitting the area in the city of Mato where he was last seen on Saturday when he was last breaking the news to his family,” the Merceana fire chief said.
During the searches, things of the missing person, a headdress and a mobile phone were found. The mobile phone was seized by the authorities.
The man served 10 years in prison and served about two.
