Russia and Belarus are cooperating successfully in the spheres of economy and security, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on April 5 in a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
“I must say that a lot has been done as a result of our joint work in all areas… This concerns our interaction in the international arena, this concerns jointly solving the problems of ensuring the security of our states. We are especially pleased to see the results of our work in the field of economics.”Putin said.
He added that the relevant issues will be discussed in detail on April 6 at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
On the evening of April 5, the leaders of the two countries can speak “in a relaxed atmosphere”Putin noted.
Recall that on April 5, Lukashenka arrived in Moscow on an official visit. According to the plan, the Belarusian leader will wake up in the Russian capital for two days.
