The father of a five-year-old who died in an attack on a kindergarten in Brazil this Wednesday spoke about the last minutes of his life with his son.
“Today he came to the nursery imitating a rabbit. I thank God for all the moments I spent with my son. I will honor the death of my son every day,” said the father. Three more children were killed in an attack on a kindergarten in Blumenau.
The father also took the opportunity to say that he had forgiven the killer, a 25-year-old man. “Some people wish harm on the person who attacked our children. As a Christian, I cannot allow this. I forgive this man’s life,” he added.
The suspect entered the kindergarten with an axe. After the death of four children under the age of seven, the man fled before turning himself in to authorities.
