The Government of the Russian Federation is not considering the possibility of repealing the law on Fan ID (Fan ID), Igor Levitin, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Olympic Committee, said on April 6. at the ceremony of awarding state awards to sports figures in Moscow, the Match TV channel reports.
“There are no changes to the fan card. The decision is made”Levitin said.
At the same time, the official added that simplified procedures for using Fan ID will be introduced for certain categories of citizens.
Remember that at the beginning of 2023, Fan ID became mandatory to attend the matches of the Russian Football Championship. As a result, attendance at matches dropped dramatically compared to last year.
We also remind you that on March 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to simplify the procedure for using Fan ID for the disabled, pensioners and children.
