The deputies of the region will make changes to the budget of the Magadan region for 2023, the press service of the Kolyma parliament reported on April 7.
The revenue and expense parts of the budget will be increased by 2.7 billion rubles.
“After the adjustment, the income side will amount to 53.2 billion rubles, the expense side will be 53.6 billion rubles. Changes are associated with revenue growth. The growth rate due to the fact of 2022 is 124.1%”– they said in the regional duma.
According to the Duma press service, there was a significant increase in the expected indicators for taxes on profits and on mineral extraction.
Interestingly, in the Magadan region, the parameters of the regional budget for 2023 are being specified for the second time. The need for modifications is due to changes in the prices of precious metals. This sector of the economy is the base and “training budget”.
At the beginning of March, the region’s budget for 2023 was already increased by 2.6 billion rubles. Taking into account the changes, the total amount of revenue amounted to approximately 50.4 billion rubles.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and regional Ecology, in 2023 gold production is expected – 54 tons, silver – 650 tons.
