The Austrian government has decided to automatically extend the validity period of IDP certificates for Ukrainian citizens who have found asylum in Austria, the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration of Ukraine (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the country). The press office wrote that “Asylum seekers who have found asylum in Austria automatically continue to have their certificate of internal displacement”.
According to the press service, the extended certificate will be sent by registered mail to the place of registration of the Ukrainian refugee and will be delivered to him personally.
