A plan of additional measures to strengthen anti-terrorist protection of educational and other institutions is being implemented in Stavropol, the press service of the city administration said on April 11 on the official website.
“Despite the fact that there are no direct threats now, we continue to strengthen the necessary measures to guarantee anti-terrorist security. This work continues under my personal control.– said the head of Stavropol Ivan Ulyanchenko.
He noted that all institutions are equipped with “panic buttons” and metal detectors. The security of educational institutions in the city is under special control.
The police officers and employees of the National Guard instructed teachers and educators on the actions to be taken in the event of a threat or actual act of terrorism. They also spoke to schoolchildren and parents about the spread of radical ideas and criminal liability for committing illegal acts.
Security guards from various institutions were also trained. They conducted emergency drills.
Recall that a terrorist in the Stavropol Territory received about 11 years in prison.
