Establishing cooperation with African countries will now become a daily task for Senator Igor Morozov. On November 15, he informed TASS about this.
According to the politician, this area of work is very important and promising for Russia, so he decided to exert himself and implement his knowledge and experience in a similar way.
At the same time, Morozov stressed that he intends to give special importance and priority to economic issues, for which he will head the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries (AFROCOM).
“I am leaving the Federation Council. Today I wrote a statement to completely change the topic of Africa.”the politician said.
Recall that Igor Morozov represented the interests of the Ryazan region in the upper house of the Russian parliament, since 2020 he is a member of the Economic Policy Committee of the Federation Council.
