Choi Sung-hee, who published the text on North Korea’s official news agency KCNA, responded to the diplomats of the Group of Seven Most Industrialized Countries in the World (G7) who called on Pyongyang to abandon the weapons program, saying that “North Korea cannot and will never receive nuclear status.” states in accordance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
