The deputy governor of the Kherson region, Ekaterina Gubareva, left the region after the referendum and does not fulfill her duties, does not participate in government work, a representative of the regional government said, TASS reports on November 18.
“Gubareva left the region since the end of the referendum and did not participate in the work of the government, remaining only formally as deputy governor. Her functions and her ministries are redistributed among other deputies ”– said a representative of the government of the Kherson region.
He also explained that Gubareva also did not participate in the evacuation of the population of Kherson.
“De facto, he has not participated in government work for a long time,” said the official.
Earlier, Gubareva’s husband reported that she was missing, the last time she was seen in the Kherson region government building in Genichesk. Then Pavel Gubarev announced on his Tedegram channel that Ekaterina was detained and released.
Later it became known that Gubareva was detained in the case of an economic crime, now the issue of a restraining measure for her is being decided.
