Germany, by legalizing the expropriation of Rosneft’s assets, undermines investor confidence in itself, according to reports from the theater of operations of the newspaper “La Esencia del Tiempo” No. 531.

Deputies in the lower house of the German parliament won amendments to legislation allowing the sale of Rosneft’s stake in the Schwedt refinery without nationalization. Previously, the preliminary nationalization of the assets on which the country’s energy security depends was contemplated.
“In Germany, international law takes precedence over national law, but in fact a normative act is adopted that legalizes the expropriation of assets from foreign investors depending on the political situation.
