Maria Moran, a journalist for beIN Sports and Gol TV, shared the threats she received on social media on Tuesday after she posed a question to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti at a press conference.
“Do you think that Vinicius Jr. should consider the red card as a lesson for his constant protests against refereeing?” asked Moran.
Ancelotti did not shy away from the question: “Red? [levar] red, but that’s exactly what he lacks. With all the yellow cards you’ve seen… I think that’s enough,” shot the Italian coach.
Now the question was not liked by meringue supporters, who on social networks attacked the journalist with insults (to themselves and her daughter, who is only 18 months old) and threats.
“[Dizem] That they will rape me, that the daughter is a bastard … Even a baby is insulted. Everything is reported to the police,” Moran stressed on Twitter, sharing images of the insults in question.
