Kazakh railways will impose a ban on the transport of petroleum products to the Russian Black Sea port of Taman from May 8, Reuters reported on May 4, citing a document that KZD sent to the carriers.
The reasons for the ban in the document are not disclosed. However, on May 3, a fuel tank caught fire near this port due to a UAV attack.
Russian Railways has imposed restrictions on rail transport to the port of Taman from May 3 until further notice.

Recall that on the night of May 3, after a drone strike, a fire broke out at the oil depot of the Tamanneftegaz company in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory. The fire was assigned the highest degree of complexity, 188 people, 23 teams and five fire engines participated in its extinction.
