Hungary has finally decided to walk away from Russia despite its reliance on its gas, the Hungarian portal Index.hu reports on May 4, citing political and economic expert Georgy Birkadze.
According to the expert, Hungary’s decision to adopt a UN resolution declaring that Russia is the aggressor and initiator of the armed conflict in Ukraine is a “good sign.”
“Until now, Hungary has been the only country in the European Union that has supported Russia, but now they have also voted in favor of the UN resolution. Don’t you think they are beginning to realize that Russia is finished?”Birkadze said.
