In the Krasnodar Territory, an attempt was made to burn down a broadcasting cabinet on the Agronom-Dvinskaya railway line, RBC reports on May 4, citing a source in the department of the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the region. .
According to law enforcement agencies, cotton pads with traces of burns were found, as well as traces of a transparent liquid on the doors and inside the cabinet. Sabotage was prevented thanks to the vigilance of the dispatcher. The relay cabinet is not damaged inside, so the trains continue to run normally.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
Note that only since the beginning of May, cases of arson of relay cabinets on the railway have been recorded in several cities at once: in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Tagil.
Earlier it was reported that the reason for the delays of commuter trains in the Finnish direction in St. Petersburg was the arson of the relay cabinet by unauthorized persons.
The ignition of the relay cabinet was recorded on the morning of May 4 on the Novaya Derevnya-Lakhta section of the Oktyabrskaya railway. As a result, six commuter trains were delayed.
