A new sanatorium-resort complex “Kapelnaya Balka” for 6 thousand people will be created in Essentuki, TASS reports on May 4, citing the head of the resort town Alexander Nekristov.
“Creation of a new growth point for the resort: Drip Balka. This is a promising area for development, it is planned to place there new facilities of the sanatorium complex, about 6 thousand beds.said the mayor of the city.
He noted that now there are 8.5 thousand beds in Essentuki, the construction of a new complex will almost double their number. The project is expected to be implemented in 2026.
Nekristov added that within the framework of the federal program in the city, it is planned to rebuild the central square on Internatsionalnaya street, improve the city lake and Kurortny park.
