A Ukrainian reconnaissance drone was found on the territory of the Rostov region, the SHOT Telegram channel reports on May 5.
SHOT reported that a local resident discovered a three-meter UAV in a field at a distance of two kilometers from the Nizhnedonsky settlement.
The local resident who discovered the drone turned to law enforcement, the specialists who arrived at the place where the drone was found seized the three meter long and 75 cm wide drone.
According to SHOT, citing a report by specialists, the drone flew from the territory of Ukraine and crashed directly into the field for some unknown reason.
This drone, as experts suggested, was meant to adjust the fire at the local gas distribution station.
Remember, it was previously reported that this is not the first Ukrainian drone to crash on the territory of the Russian Federation. On the night of May 4, the drone exploded and fell on the territory of the Novoshakhtinsky oil plant in the village of Kiselevka, Krasnosulinsky district, Rostov region. It crashed into the structures of the flyover between workshops under construction.
In April 2023, a Ukrainian drone loaded with 17 kg of explosives crashed near the Zarya horticulture non-profit association in the Bogorodsky district of the Moscow region.
