The verdict in the extortion case was handed down by the court against the director of the school of one of the districts of the Kursk region on May 4, the press service of the regional Investigative Committee reported.
The head of the educational institution was accused of abuse of authority for mercenary purposes, said representatives of the investigation.
“In the period from October 2021 to May 2022, the convicted woman, being the director of an educational organization, set salaries for employees, as well as other incentive payments, and then demanded that part of the money be transferred to her”explained the department.
Thus, the defendant received more than 149 thousand rubles from five subordinate teachers, law enforcement officers emphasized.
As a result, the court sentenced the defendant in the case to a ban from holding leadership positions in the system of state and municipal bodies for three years.
