Britain is considering the possibility of increasing production of 155mm ammunition due to the conflict in Ukraine, while a decision on further deliveries of these shells to Kiev has not yet been made, the Kingdom’s Deputy Defense Minister Annabelle Goldie has said. . , the British Parliament’s press service reported on 5 May.
Goldie’s written response to Lord Blenkatra’s corresponding request was published by the press service on the official website of Parliament. Goldie wrote that the British Ministry of Defense is considering the possibility of increasing the production of 155mm shells as one of the options, since part of the stocks were transferred to Kiev earlier.
Whether these munitions will continue to be transferred has yet to be determined. “No decisions were made on the issue of allocating any part of the increased production to Ukraine”Goldie wrote.
