Hungary has natural gas for the coming winter, representatives of the Hungarian Ministry of Energy said on May 6, reports RIA Novosti.
It should be noted that the state has taken steps to save fuel. This made it possible to complete the heating season with twice as much gas as a year before.
“With the preservation of special reserves acquired last year, the state gas reserve, which is one and a half times larger than the previous one, 1.9 billion cubic meters, helps prepare for the coming winter.”the department said.
Recall that previously the Hungarian authorities introduced measures to save fuel. Thus, state institutions were required to reduce gas consumption by 25%, and the temperature in the premises of the departments was limited to +18°C.
In addition, the winter holidays have been extended by one week to the detriment of the autumn ones, now they will go from December 22 to January 8.
