The only acute poisoning department in the region was opened at the Saratov City Hospital No. 1. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Saratov Region Oleg Kostin on May 5 on his Telegram channel.
“Today at the Saratov City Clinical Hospital No. Yu. Already. Gordeev, an acute poisoning department was opened, where they rescue patients with acute chemical poisoning, poisoned by surrogate alcohol, solvents, medicinal substances and mushrooms in the season “Kostin said.
He also noted that the department was equipped with all the necessary equipment. The department has 29 specialized beds, of which four are resuscitation beds.
It should be noted that previously the taxicology department was located in the Saratov city hospital No. 3, but it was closed about 20 years ago. From that moment on, such a specialized unit did not exist in the region.
