Local police killed the shooter at the Allen Premium Outlets, in a town on the outskirts of Dallas.
At least nine people died this Saturday and seven more were injured after a shooting that took place in a shopping center in the city of Allenin Texas, in the southern United States.
According to the chief of the Allen Police Department, Brian Harvey, the attacker was neutralized by a police officer who was at the mall after a call.
Six people and the attacker were found dead at the scene, while nine were transported to hospitals and two of them died at the medical center.
Three others are receiving “critical surgeries” and four are “in stable condition,” the police chief said. At least one of the deceased is a child.
The images published by the media show how dozens of people left the shopping center, many of them with their hands above their heads.
