Seven people have died after being hit by a car while waiting for a bus at a bus stop near a shelter for migrants and the homeless in Brownsville, Texas, near the border with Mexico, this Sunday.
Also, 12 people were injured and were taken to the hospital with severe and minor injuries. NBC News.
One of the injured was flown by helicopter to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
The alarm was announced at 08:30. The driver is being treated at a hospital where the police are watching him. The driver is being tested for drugs and alcohol.
The causes of the accident are not yet known. But, according to NBC News Authorities believe this was a deliberate act.
