In the case of gasoline, it was found that consumption in the period from January to March was 32,900 tons higher than in the same quarter of the year (+14.1%), reaching 266,000 tons, but compared to the previous quarter there was a decrease of 5 600 tons. (-2.1%).
Concerning diesel fuel for road transport, consumption was higher than in the same period last year by 86,300 tons (+8.1%), reaching a total of 1.157 million tons, while compared to the previous period, the increase was 40,100 tons (+3.6%). %).
Consumption of gaseous fuels decreased by 61,800 tons (-25.9%) compared to the same quarter in 2015 and increased by 55,000 tons (+45.1%) compared to the previous quarter.
Although the consumption of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the first quarter was higher than in the same period last year, by 1,200 tons (+14.8%), reaching a total of 9,000 tons, and by 200 tons (+2.2% ) compared to the previous year. quarterly decline in butane and propane consumption explained the overall decline in the gas group.
Butane consumption in the analyzed period compared to the same period was 19,700 tons lower (-33.8%), reaching a total of 39,000 tons.
Compared to the previous period, there was an increase of 3,900 tons (+11.2%).
Propane consumption was 43,300 tons lower than in the same period last year (-25.1%), and amounted to 129,000 tons, and compared to the previous quarter there was an increase of 50,900 tons (+65.2%).
