The Supreme Administrative Court overturned the punishment for two matches behind closed doors imposed by the Disciplinary Board (CD) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) of Ligue I Boavista due to discriminatory behaviour.
A source close to the trial confirmed on Tuesday to the Lusa news agency the decision taken by this court, which upheld the appeal of the inhabitants of Porto against the sanction known almost a year ago, which also entailed a fine of 38,250 euros.
Boavista was penalized by FPF CD on June 14, 2022 after opening a disciplinary process for incidents confirmed during the draw against Estoril Praia (1-1) on September 27, 2021, in the seventh round of 2021/22. I league edition.
