SDP President Luis Montenegro said on Tuesday that the party would not rule out a parliamentary commission to investigate the activities of the Security Information Service (SIS) in restoring the computer of former Assistant Minister Joao Galamba.
“I would say that we do not rule out, we do not rule out the possibility of creating a parliamentary commission of inquiry on this particular issue, but I think that at this stage it is important to emphasize that parliamentary hearings should be held as soon as possible and that conclusions can be drawn , even if they are preliminary, on this issue,” said Luis Montenegro in Leiria, the area where the “Sentir Portugal” program continues this week.
On the sidelines of the meeting of the Permanent Political Commission, Luis Montenegro began by saying that this is “a very serious situation that needs to be fully clarified.”
