CP — Comboios de Portugal announced on Tuesday that a new bar operator on long-distance trains has already regularized the wages of workers, and service was resumed on May 4, according to the statement.
So, the carrier said that “from May 4, bar and cafeteria services on board the Alfa Pendular and Intercidades trains are again available,” stressing that “this restoration comes after the conclusion of a contract between CP and Newrail, the new service provider responsible for this area.”
According to the CP, “as stipulated in the contract, all employees were integrated into the new service provider, which guaranteed the continuity of employment and the preservation of the labor rights of the employees involved.”
